Afternoon Mission  &  Static Display

The afternoon mission was supposed to be bigger than the morning mission, as a COMAO exercise was scheduled. This was actually not the case. Despite that, it was really nice to get a second change to take pictures of the departures. The light conditions were a little different so, no shot was the same.

When all aircraft were airborne Mark and I decided to find ourselves a nice spot along the parallel taxiway to take some taxi shots. The sun was almost exactly on the nose which made it a little harder to take good shots. We finally found a nice shot with a nice low angel on the taxiway. When all aircraft were back on the ground we decided to walk back to the car. Unfortunately we missed the arrival of the Portuguese F-16.

We can look back to again a terrific spottersday at Kleine Brogel, which resulted in some nice shots. This years NATO Tiger Meet saw some nice participants. My personal highlight was the Italian AB.212, and in my opinion the French Rafale had the best Tiger color scheme this year. See ya all, next year at Volkel AB.
