Morning Mission  &  Tiger Fly-by

After we entered the base we first took some shots of the aircraft parked at the parallel taxiway. Not much later one of the Czech Hinds got airborne. We also heard some fighters taxiing out, so this was for us the sign to look for a nice spot along the parallel taxiway to take shots of the departures.

The light conditions were pretty good during the departures, which resulted in some very nice shots. When the first wave of the morning was airborne, a second wave of Tiger marked aircraft taxied out. Their mission, a photo shoot of the Tiger formation. It was really an awesome sight to see all these different aircraft in one formation.

As said before, after landing the aircraft taxied via the parallel taxiway to their parking position on the other side. The Tiger aircraft were parked at the parallel taxiway. A medical emergency in the spectator area resulted in a traffic jam on this taxiway. Unfortunately the English aviation enthusiast didn't make it. Thoughts go out to the friends and family.
