Photo Call  Wittmund AB,  30 July 2008

Today the Jagdgeschwader 71 "Richthofen" organized a photo call to celebrate 50 years F-4 Phantom and 35 years of the F-4F in German service. At first I didn't plan to visit this photo call but my friends Mike and Niels convinced me it was going to be well worth it. They were right, it really was a great day!

Around 9.30h we arrived at the Richthofen Kaserne where we took the first shots of the day. We had to wait for almost an hour before we were picked up by a bus which brought us to Wittmund Airbase. We stayed almost an hour on base to take shots of the aircraft of the static show. Later on we decided to leave the base and found a nice spot outside to take shots of the aircraft departing and landing, with the sun in our back.
