Flying Display,  4 June 2006

Sunday, June 4th we decided to drive all the way towards Lo Pagán beach in stead of driving to the parking places which were arranged for the airshow. This was a good decision as we parked our car only 100 meters from the beach where a special area was arranged for the aircraft spotters. This was a perfect spot almost in the middle of the display centre, close to the VIP area. Unfortunately we where facing the sun during the first part of the airshow which made it very hard to take good pictures of it. Despite that we enjoyed watching the airshow and of course it was very nice to cool off in the nice cold sea when it became too hot under our feet.

Around 2 o’clock in the afternoon the sun was finally in our back which made it perfect to take good pictures of the airshow. It was also nice to see the moon in front of us during the late afternoon which made it possible to take some pictures of the participating aircraft with the moon. Around 6 o’clock in the evening AIRE 06 at Murcia-San Javier came to an end. A big thanks goes out to Major Marcelino and his team for making this all possible.
