Tanágra - Flying Display,  17/18 September 2005

After the awesome opening of the Hellenic Air Force lots of foreign aircraft performed their display. Besides the German Air Force EF2000, the Swedish Gripen and the French Rafale also the Dutch F-16 solo display team was present.

Some of the highlights of the foreign participants were the Romanian IAR.99 and the Serbian Super Galeb. The show ended with some fly-by's of again some Hellenic Air Force aircraft. As you can see on the previous page. After the fly-by of the Hellenic C-47 we walked back to our car. From here we drove towards Rafína where we found a nice hotel close to the harbor. Here we had again a very nice dinner at a local restaurant.

The next day we returned the rental car at Aerodromio Athinon Eleftherios Venizelos (Athens) and flew back to Cologne Airport. In the end we can look back at a fantastic weekend in Greece. From here, I would like to thank the organization of the Archangel Airshow 2005 for the fantastic job they did!! And I'm already looking forward to go back to Greece.
