Meeting de l'Air  BA112 Reims,  4 July 2004

From the International Airshow at Koksijde my friend Bart and I drove towards Reims where we booked a room in the local Formula 1 Hotel. The evening was spend in the city of Reims, where we had some drinks and a good meal.

The next day we drove from the Formula 1 Hotel to the  airfield of Reims-Champagne, where a Meeting de l'Air took place.  Just like yesterday we arrived way too early, so we had to wait at least 90 minutes before we entered the airfield. Unfortunately the weather in the morning was the same as yesterday. After our lunch break the weather got even worse and the rest of the day we had some rain showers.

The show at Reims was nothing special, however I was able to take some good shots of the static display. One of the highlights of the day was the fly-by of the Mirage IV with the C-135FR. After the show we drove back to Holland were we arrived around 9 o'clock in the evening. During the trip we drove around 1250 kms.
