Poznań-Krzesziny,  27 April 2000

The next day a base visit at Poznań-Krzesziny was planned. Again it all started very disappointing because they told us they were not flying that day. However they did their best and had even a small static display of three MiG-21s and a TS-11. Unfortunately we had heavy backlight when taking shots of the static. But their were very helpful and towed some of the MiGs to a better position.

About 750 meters from the static display a line of 16 Fishbeds was visible. At first they told us it was not possible to go there or to take pictures of it. Again we kept on asking for more and after an hour we walked towards the big line of stored MiG-21s.

Close to the line were a few Mi-2s and also a few MiG-21s were noted inside the hangar that was close to the line. Around two o’clock in the afternoon the base visit ended. Despite the fact that they didn't fly during our visit we were pretty happy with the result. A nice score of twenty-four MiG-21s, and three Mi-2s. Later that day we drove towards Łask where the final base visit of our tour was planned the next day.
