On this day me and my dad drove to BA103 Cambrai-Epinoy to visit the Meeting National. It was the first time we visited an airshow in France, so we were both very excided as we didn't know what to expect.

We were pretty surprised by the photo-conditions. The flightline and the biggest part of the static were in good position to take some nice shots. Unfortunately the display line and runway were a bit further away which made it a lot harder to take good shots of.

Throughout the day we really enjoyed the show, with some nice highlights, like the French E-3F Sentry and the nice amount of French fighters, like the Jaguars, Mirage 2000s and Mirage F.1s.

The biggest highlight for everyone was the Mirage IV which made an awesome JATO (Jet Assisted Take Off) departure. It came as a real surprise for me as my French isn't that good.  I didn't hear the announcement and the Mirage IV suddenly appeared from the opposite of the runway.
