Opendays & Departures,   1-4 September 2000

During the KLu Opendays I had some time to take some shots of the aircraft parked at the static display. As I had most of the aircraft of photo during the arrival, I mainly took some shots of the helicopters at the static display.

The Sunday after the Opendays saw the departures of some of the highlights of the show. The day started with the departure of the German Eurofighter. Unfortunately it was still pretty cloudy at that time. Later that morning the sun came through, which really resulted in some very nice shots. The Hellenic Air Force Corsairs taxied via the main runway which resulted in some very nice shots. Another highlight of this year Opendays were the three Viggens, which left after the A-7s.

The next  day started a little cloudy again. I was very happy with the Romanian C-130B that arrived early in the morning. Unfortunately both the Romanian MiG-21s and the Hercules departed from the opposite runway, which made it pretty hard to get some good shots of them.
